'The Irishman', Scorsese's new superhero movie breaks all the records

An ode to superhero cinema and its special effects, those Scorsese loves so much. 'The Irishman' is a movie about a normal guy who acquires his powers when he is bitten by an Irish.

When Frank Haffleston gets into a bar brawl, he discovers when he gets home that someone has bitten him and spends two days in bed sleeping. Upon waking up, Haffleston finds that he has become Brendan "The Irishman" O'Connor, who is a redhead, who speaks with an Irish accent and feels an insatiable thirst for beer.

This awesome premise is the one Scorsese has surprised us this time with, showing us once more that he is a true master of sci-fi and commercial superhero cinema. "I love Marvel and superhero movies. These are the highest for of art", stated in a recent interview.
